Hi Freaks !
big problems encountered again in backing up my TNG DVD's PAL.
In the RC2 PAL version, each DVD comes with 4 different VOV sets which contains each 1 stream. So I did the following:
- Rip every episode and reencode them with CCE 2.50
- I use DVD-Authoring in IFOEDIT to authore each episode in an own folder
- I renamed for each episode the VTS_01_1/2 as in the original
to VTS_02_1/2.VOB for episode 2, VTS_03_1/2.VOB for episode 3,VTS_04_1/2.VOB for episode 4. I did the same for the new vts_01_0.ifo in each folder
- replaced the original VTS_0x_1/2.VOB (where x ranges from 1 to 4) by the new ones
- I did 4 times ifoupdate to update the original 4 ifo files
- Finally I did a GET VTS sector for the new ifos
Everything seems to be right. This DVD I can play very well with PowerDVD, everything seems to be alright.
If i burn this VIDEO_TS folder, I get a "reallocation error" but it seems to be ignorable (I tried with imgtool but its the same)
In my Player, only the 1st episode works, all others crash the player after selecting.
Sounds like missing GET VTS SECTOR, but I did it some times again ...
Anybody out there with ideas ???
Thank you,
