please can anyone help me? im struggling to play some cd's which are encoded with divx 3.11 and 5.0.2,they are avi's in the real player and windows media player 7.1 formats.ive tried the free divx 5.02 download but when i ran the cd it only showed the windows media files and not the real player ones,not even the 3.11 versions.when i only had divx 3.11 alpha installed it showed and played both types rm and wmp.i only wish to view my cd's has im just learning the art of divx.can someone please help me i would be truly gratefull.my pc runs on win 2000 pro,512mb memory.which divx player would be best for my predicament or any software solutions.thakyou to anyone who can help :confused:

Hi, and welcome.
Might not be a player issue. First try opening them in "Classic" windows media player e.g Start/run/mplayer2.exe

You could try re-installing both codecs involved here.
If no luck, open them with VirtualDub and see if that reports anything.
