DVD Decrypter - split by chapter question

Well I've always used smartripper. I encode anime DVDs regularly and I always use smartripper. I always use stream processing with the audio being demxed to an AC3 file. I always split by chapter and I love the fact that smartripper wouldn't split the audio which is very good.

I just used DVD decrypter and the problem is that the audio is split by chapters too. Is there a way to prevent this?

Erm...in a word, No - Sorry!
If you split by chapter, it splits by chapter. It doesnt do a half and half thing.

any chance you could incorporate that? I encode anime by episodes so chapter splitting is a must for video but chapter splitting for audio is bane. :)

So if you split the video, I dont get what you do with the audio?

The only thing you can do, if you really want to use dvd decrypter, it rip the two streams one after the other, changing the splitting setting inbetween.

Other than that, you'd best just stick to SmartRipper.
