unable to write to dvd2svcd.ini file error using 1.1.0 b1a

I have had this problem since I installed the new version last night. I never had this problem before when using 1.0.9 build 3.

A search most likely would have given a few things to try. Please try to do so in the future.

If you have Norton Unerase shut it off.
If you are using a Virus Checker shut it off as well.

If neither apply please tell us.

Can i ask why your using vstrip over dvd2svcd's internal ripper?

always use the internal ripper over any other.

To anyone having the ini problem.

Ripp vobfiles with dvd2svcd internal ripper if that dosen't help then
unistall and reinstall 1.1.0 build 1a, if all that dosen't help
reinstall 1.0.9 build 3 and see what happens, post back here please.

Check if any of the files is "read-only",...Did u update the Tmpeg recently?...check also in this folder.

Also if those things dont fix your problem, version 1.1.0 build2 that
is the next version to be released is supposed to fix the problem.

when asking if any files are "Read only", are you refering to the files that dvd2svcd creates or the actual program files? when I try to delete the ripped vob's it tells me that they are read only. Would this pose a problem?
Also...I upgraded to TMPG 2.59. Should I not have done this? If not, what should I do now?

I was getting the "unable to write to DVD2SVCD.INI" error when I used the DVD2SVCD ver. 1.1.0 build 1.
Then, after installing DVD2SVCD ver. 1.1.1 build 2, the program ran perfectly ONCE.
Now, I'm getting the same unable to write to DVD2SVCD.INI error. Any ideas?

turning off your virus scan helps, I also just reinstalled the program completely
