Picture grey, but sound works!

I ve got a movie, which is encoded with Divx 4, all my players (bs,winamp,Powerdvd) wont play (only grey picture,sound works!). Interestingly, you can see the picture in VirtualDub! Suggestions, anyone? TIA!

That's easy, check the decoder properties page (I presume DivX 3.x), then click reset for the brightness, contrast, etc settings.

This happens to me every now and then. I have found that wmp 8/9 and zoomplayer will show the picture correctly. At least if we're talking about the same problem. It seems most common on asf movies.

Its a typical Win problem with decoding filters.
My advice is, install a FFD show filters and let them play all their supported movies - look, the same happens for me too - after a updates for SP3 i get the same problem.
And this fix it.
