Hi,
does anybody know if there are any free filters for avisynth or vdub, that are as good as the "professional and TOO expensiv" upconverters like these:
http://www.snellwilcox.com/productguide/data/alcpdata.pdf
http://www.teranex.com/applications/xantus-overview.html
both machines detect motion and use special deinterlacingfilters...
the job is to upconvert DVCAM-material (PAL 720x576@25fps, interlaced, 16:9 shot with a anamorphotic lens) to HD (1980x1080 @25fps, progressive) the end result will be printed to 35mm film, so the quality must be very good.
any ideas?
