Compressibility test with MPEG2Dec3+Avisynth 2.5

I've modified DivX 5 Enc in order to work with MPEG2Dec3 + Avisynth 2.5

You must download the last version:
http://jonny.leffe.dnsalias.com/divx5enc_1_07.zip
Then replace divx5enc.exe with this:
http://jonny.leffe.dnsalias.com/divx5enc_1_07mod.zip EDIT: removed, new AviSynth 2.5 have SelectRangeEvery!!! :D:D:D

Basically i've replaced
SelectRangeEvery(n,14)
with
SelectEvery(n,0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13)

Seems to work well.
Can someone tell me if there are real differences between SelectRangeEvery and SelectEvery?

DVD2AVI 1.76
Avisynth 2.5 alpha
MPEG2Dec3 v0.91
VirtualDubMod 1.4.11.1

After doing the compressibility test it said the FPS was 24.000. However, DVD2AVI's Force FILM left it at 23.976. Is it just a case of your program rounding? I'm confident it should indeed read "23.976 fps."

Please make this test:
simply open the .avs with VDub and go to File information to see what is the correct value.

So far your program is Superbulent. :D

One question though. When I go into VirtualDub and ctrl-c to get the divx5 properties, I see on one of the last tabs something about quality vs. speed of encode. Does your divx5 enc pass the correct parameter, or is the default == full quality/slow speed, and no parameter needs passing?

DivX5Enc always use "Slowest" (i don't think someone want to use other values for encoding).
