Gordian Knot and others

I need some advice!!! :confused: :confused:Can anyone tell me how long does it usually take to fully use Gordian Knot??? I have been trying to rip "Reign of Fire". I started at 1:00P Eastern, AND I'M STILL RIPPING AND DECODING AT 8:00p. Does it usually take that long???? :confused:

It depends on your system and how many filters you tell it to run

Noise filters will cause the longest delays.

Larger resolutions take longer, as there are more pixels per frame.

Running other applications (or background services) may also slow your system.

I've had some encodings go in a couple of hours, others that require more complex encoding work, sometimes take ... days.

As we are in the newbie section:

Ripping a Movie can take up to 17 hours or even longer.
I have a P3 with ~800MHz and I need between 12 and 16 hours (depending on filters, rersolution...)!
