Divx to DVD ?

I tried to convert a Divx file to DVD using Vegas Video 3. It encoded fine except it didn't have any sound. The DVD would even play in a DVD player and looked superb, except no sound. Very frustrating because the picture quality is so good. Sadly Vegas can't identify the audio type of any of the Divx files I have. So can anyone suggest a tweak or some software that can convert it ? Considering it does the picture fine I am sure it wont be hard to convert the audio.

Extract the audio from your AVI file using AVI2WAV, rename to mp3, and convert this mp3 to WAV (using RazorLame for example). WAV should be readable within your software.

I use Dazzle to convert divx to dvd and I have to produce the video basically it plays real slow and rencodes then load it through dvd complete which converts it once again. My question to you is Hollywood any faster and less of well a hassle? Thanks for any info
