But the actual area that has a picture (after stretching, etc) on a 2.35:1 dvd is wider and shorter than a 'widescreen' TV, so even when it plays on one of those, it will have black bars on the top and bottom, right?
As I understand it, the 1.85:1 DVD's will fit perfectly in a widescreen TV.
