I'm using DVD2SVCD trying to use 2 languages (English and French) with English subtitles also. When loading up the .cue file in Nero and try burning, it says the files is too large (or media is not big enough, etc...). Anyways, I checked the tab when loading the .cue files and it shows me 2 tracks of the exact same size. I was thinking that it had 2 tracks because I used encoded with 2 (Eng./French) audio tracks, but I reencoded everything again with just Eng. audio and no subtitle, but no luck. Anyways, how can I burn the movies when nero regconize the file as over 1.2 gig.

Post your dvd2svcd log file.

It's not two audio tracks it's two tracks. One track is the information for the disc the other is the data (or mpg).

1.2gigs? Sounds like you have your cut point at the wrong spot. As chainsaw said, "Post your dvd2svcd log file."

If you want to burn the files from DVD2SVCD with Nero, always chose file -- burn image, never use file -- open.

I'm looking for my log files right now; might have deleted everything cuz I was frustrated.
I understand that the 2 tracks holds information on the disc, but if one of them is (mpeg), then the other 700 mb can't possibly extra (menus, subtitles, .cfg files) on the disc. It doesn't help me if Nero regconizes both tracks because Nero totals the file size together to get over 1 gig of data. I did check to make sure that the cut point is under 700 mb so that it would fit on one cd. I also choosed burn images instead of open. I have to get Nero to either ignore the second track or edit the .cue file so that 1 track is shown in Nero. Any other ideas or am I just confusing everyone now?

yea..here's an idea....read the readme.txt the comes with dvd2svcd bundle and do what dvd2svcd himself recommends.

A few points.

One please only use one ! or other special character in your tittle this is against forum rules and your tittle has been edited to comply.

Second is why are you setting DVD2SVCD below 700MB's? Have you not read the Q+A and the Quick guide and FAQ?

Both explain how to properly burn a file, which I think this is your issue here, and why you can put 806mb's on a 700mb CD-R disc.

I really think your problems will go away if you just read those items and follow the instructions.

You are suppose to burn the Cue/Bin files as images. You can use Nero, but need a recent version for it work correctly. You can also use VCDEasy, CDRWIN or others like them. Just don't use Fireburner.
In Nero you choose file->Burn Images then select the Cue file. You do not use the wizard.

If you are getting a 1GB file and did not do so on purpose there is probably another issue that once you cut and paste your logfile in a post we will have a look.

First and formost, I like to apologize for any and all mistakes that I've failed to follow stated in the forum rules. Second, thank you to those who spend the time to graciously give me ideas and steps to insure my problem is solved.
The final size for the video is over 800 mb, but when put into SVCD format in Nero, it's reduced to under 700 mb which would burn perfectly. I think Nero is my problem and so I'm using CDRWin now and it works perfectly. Thanks again all.
