Avi 2 wav output choppy in virtualdub

im trying to get my first avi 2 vcd under my belt and i was wondering. When i convert the audio from avi 2 wav in virtualdub the output wave file is very choppy... is it normal im assuming no...so if someone could inlighten me, i would be greatfull. :)

i have been folowing the avi 2 (S)VCD guide by the letter...

Of course it's not normal. I assume you mean the avi audio you're converting, not the actual avi :p . But what format was the original audio in? And is the original audio fine?

it worked the fourth time i tried, i didn't change anything so i dont understand :confused: and i managed to do my svcd afterwards...
