I am not really a newbee as have backed up heaps of DVD's but this has me stumped.

Have followed the guides that I think relate to my problem but still no go.

This is a music DVD with one Stereo Channel. Each song is a chapter. The only extras is a photo gallery.

The problem for me is it has 2 identical PGC's each 2hours:10min with identical chapter points etc. I have ripped the content of the 1st PGC audio and video and used CCE and chapterXtractor to make it smaller. After re-authoring with both ifoedit or DVDmaestro the audio gets way out of sync and the chapters are hopless. I havn't even bothered yet to put it together with ifoupdate.

I am sure the problem is my understanding of the two identical PGC's.

Would love some ideas of help.

You probably have to rip each video separately.Use vobEdit to split the vob's to cells-i think you will find black only vob files separating each chapter, this is what is causing the out of sync issue.I ran into this on A Hard Days Night Disc 2 where a lot of small 3-5 min segments were combined into a few 0.99gb vob's.I thought i could demux the whole string of segments into one big m2v but i ran in to the sync issue so i had to split by cell and demux and it works fine(lots of work though).
