Hi all,
i used BeSweet for my audio when i ripped a dvd through gordian knot and when i got the end product the sound was a little soft and to get a nice volume, i needed to have my speakers quite high. is there anyway to fix this or is it just the way BeSweet is. are there other good audio programs out there other than BeSweet and Vob2Audio??

You could try and add somehting like -boost( /b=3 /l=0.98 ) or similar to your BeSweet comandline.

BeSweet is a command-line program:
C:\PROGRA~1\GORDIA~1\besweet.exe -core( -input C:\Movies, Rips & Apps\Rips\Glimmer Man\Glimmer Man AC3 T01 3_2ch 384Kbps DELAY -88ms.ac3 -output C:\Movies, Rips & Apps\Rips\Glimmer Man\Glimmer Man AC3 T01 3_2ch 384Kbps DELAY -88ms.mp3 -logfile C:\Movies, Rips & Apps\Rips\Glimmer Man\Glimmer Man AC3 T01 3_2ch 384Kbps DELAY -88ms.log ) -ota( -G max ) -azid( -c normal ) -lame( -h --abr 128 --scale 1 ) -profile( Gordian Knot 0.26 )
that is the command-line that gknot produced and used for you. I suggest you download the BeSweet GUI (http://dspguru.doom9.net/), it will allow you to add the Boost line that alestrix talks about. You can also try a newer version of BeSweet. I'm surprised that gknot is still using --abr, it should definately be --alt-preset 128 --scale 1 now. play around with BeSweet for a bit, you'll get the hang of it. Then use your new audio file in gknot or mux it manually.

i would suggest that you download v1.5b6 from my beta page and overwrite gordion knot with v1.4 dll files and v1.5b6 BeSweet.exe.
