Hope this is the right plce and that it hasent been brought upp to many times( I actually did search but couldnt get any exact information). I have a SB 5.1 using the analouge 5.1 output and tried to encode some AC3 files to 5.1 OGG files using the latest headchpre and at 217kbps it just sounded great and at 317 amazing but (I use Winamp 2.x )when playing in winamp I had to set the input to Remap 6 channels and correct source channel order to get the LFE channel to work. Is this correct or chould I play it at diferent seting to preserve the correct channel information? then for the second question as the codec/movie scene has improved since my last OGG experience I thought of doing some DivX 5.02/ogg 5.1 ripps can you set the same filter properties when playing back the movie so I get the LFE or should it work whitout any settings. And does this work good whit the latest bsplayer? ( have uninstalled the shitty windows media player). Hope you understand and again that this isnt a repetead issue then you might be able to point me to the correct direction.
