View Full Version : Movie time reported as double using OGMuxer

I am using OGMuxer 1.0a10 and OggMux 0.9.4. When I mux my files the total time reported in Zoom Player is exactly twice what the time should actually be.

I'm using an ogg audio file created at about .400, a subrip subtitle file and, here is the problem I think, an avi created by appending a small 1-pass quality based divx file (credits) onto a large 2-pass divx file (movie).

The movie plays back fine, the file size is correct and all the audio and subtitles are in sync. The only problem is the reported total time.

Is there something I can do to fix the time?

Thanks,
Dave

Strange ...

Stupid question : could you verify your subtitle times are correct (I mean if the last subtitles end at 2h - or that one of your subtitle is bad and say to appear at such a time - but that your video lasts 1h, the reported time in players based on DirectShow will be 2h - this is a problem with embedded subtitles in OGM) ?

I don't see anything else that could cause such thing ...
Or maybe : did you try to open also the Ogg file in MediaPlayer to see what's the total time announced (is it the good one or is it also twice what it should be) ?

Yup, the subtitles were the problem.

Oddly I thought I had checked for that. Guess not :)

Thanks for the speedy reply.
