When I'm trying to encode AC3 stream to 4-channel vorbis, I get a message "Could not allocate enough RAM for buffers".
My source is 5.1 AC3 file and I'm using deafult settings for 4-channel downmixing. Problem is the same when using float or dumb mode (only diffence is that in dumb mode AC3 decoding starts properly, but after few cycles it gives the same message and in float mode the message pops out immediatly). Regular 2-channel decoding works fine.
I'm using HeadAC3he (with MMX dlls) quite some time now for AC3 decoding/reencoding. 4-channel vorbis (I have a 4-channel sound card) is a good compromise for "1CD-rip-less-important-movies-but-I-want-multichannel-sound-and-more-space-for-video" :) and it worked just fine until few days ago.
