Rip and encode extras dvd

I have no problem ripping a main moving and encoding with CCE and frame serving with avisynth, and authoring with DVD Maestro.

I want to encode basically the whole dvd # 2 (extras DVD)of attack of the clones and have never really done it before.

What is the best way to back up a dvd and keep the whole structure of it , basically just make it fit on a dvd-r disk.

You'd have to re-encode all of the extras. You basically need to back up the whole disc to your HD. Re-encode the extras and then merge the newly encoded video back into the structure. You'll need IFOUpdate, IFOedit, possibly an authoring program. There's a guide that goes over keeping the entire disc.
