Blurry subtitles DVD2SVCD? 1.1.0.1a

Hi, when I convert a movie with permanent subtitles, it results in VERY blurry subtitles. It's awful how it looks, almost like a 8 bit Nintendo font! Does somebody knows how to fix this? Thanx!

what was the average bitrate you used? if it is fixed subs and a low bitrate it is no surprise to me that you get blury subs. increase the bitrate to not less than 2000 and you will get good results either in the subs and also you will get better converted movies
