How to get rid of jerky movement when panning?

Hi folks, I have a DivX clip which has a rather jerky movement when the camera is panning. The clip has an FPS of 23.976 and I'm converting it to PAL 25fps using AssumeFPS(25).

The jerky movement is in the DivX clip already so I would like to have some advice on how to get rid of it - if it is possible by any means.

I didn't find any specific advice by searching and I don't know much about these things as I've never had to worry about them, please bear with me ;)

There is no solution to your problem.

i gues you could solve one problem with another and use a temporal filter, setting it so high that it causes ghosting

If you don't mind ghosting in your clips, then you can take a look at ConvertFPS (http://www.avisynth.org/index.php?page=FPS). I have seen some claims that it can be quite good at avoiding jerkiness, but at the expense of ghosting.
