I have seen this brought up before and nobody seems to have the answer, or they don't tell us. I ripped and stripped a DVD. With the menu I removed alot of the VOBIds in the menu VOB that I would never go into to help make it smaller.
I took the VOBIds 2,3,4,7,8,9,10,11,12 and 16. IfoEdit then made the new IFO and VOB file with the relabelled VOBIds 1-10. But now the menu doesn't work properly. If I pressed the 'Root Menu' Button the movie went into the 'Scene Selection'(now fixed).
But all the buttons when selected just flash back to the 'root menu' except for the 'subtitle' which is fine.
Does ANYBODY know how to edit these commands? I looked in VOBEdit where you normally disable buttons (or really skip them) and saw the command feature just below that and played with that but nothing changed. That might have been the way to do it but when you change it, because the VOBIds are very long (menus incorporating FMV) it doesn't change any of the other 'NAV Packs', just the one you change. There are way too many of these in one VOBId to change each one manually, or is there a simple way to update all of the 'NAV Packs' that I have overlooked? Or am I on the wrong path all together?
