I have back-ups of all my original discs that all play fine, I've just purchased a Pacific DVD-1002. So far I have came accross 2 back-ups that won't play the movie in this machine. I get all the menus and special features but when I select to play the movie the display shows it playing but whatever was on screen prior to this stays on.
I can jump chapters as if I was watching the movie but I don't get pic or sound.
Anyone any ideas?
Has this got anything to do with Macrovision?
