Hi
I re-encoded LOTR region 2 following the basic guide for fitting a movie onto a dvd-r to the letter.
I used TMPEGEnc to transcode the video stream and re-authored the disc in IFOEdit and burned using Nero 5.5.8.0.
The disc is recognised in players and my desktop and laptop machines however:
my laptop (geforce2 go) always plays the movie very jerkily as if only 1 in 4 frames is being played, whereas my desktop (Realmagic HP) and Toshiba dvd player play the movie fine but do occasionally skip.
Are these indicators symptomatic of a particular part of the re-authoring process where I have slipped up or should I be considering using CCE instead?
Cheers
