I used TMPGEnc to re-encode a VOB file.
The resulting m2v file size was 200 Mb.
Then I remuxed it with Ifoedit with 2 methods:
Remux using the VOB Extras Button:
The remuxed vob was 184 Mb
Remuxed using the Authoring Menu:
The remuxed vob was 216 Mb
How can a 200 Mb m2v file (without audio and Subpictures stream) be shrinked to 184 Mb VOB file when you add and mux it with a 13.3 Mb Audio file?
I think there is data loose with this muxing method. And the resulting Vob file hangs video every second. Could this be a Video buffer overflow (too much data to be played every second of movie)?
However the 216 Mb muxed with Authoring Menu plays perfectly and my brain can accept that 200 Mb of video + 13.3 Mb of Audio results on a 216 Mb of DVD-VIDEO system stream.(Not the crazy 183 Mb thing with VOB Extras Button Method)
