what im after doing is putting svcd to dvd-r
now ive look all over for help and carnt find nothing so if some one is willing to help ill make it worth there while

This should be no problem, but a few more details are needed, what are the file formats in ? (As I recall SVCD is usually MPEG2).

yes svcd is mpeg2 and im wanting to put a 2 disc svcd movie on dvd-r

Consider reading the format conversion guides found on this very site :). Also, a simple google search for "svcd on dvd-r" turns up plenty of pages dealing exactly with this subject, including guides on (again) this site and on vcdhelp.com. Enjoy ...

smiller67 is right, there are lots of guides to advise you.

Basically, your MPEG2 files are compressed. They contain both a video stream, and an audio stream.

You will need to split these, then join them back into an MPEG2 format, then "author" them into DVD format (VOBs).

I take it you have a DVD burner (if so what type ?)

What DVD burning software are you thinking of using ?

Please research the forum to get an idea of what is involved, so you can ask more detailed questions.
