I've been trying to use REMPEG to fit DVD9 to DVD5 and running into trouble. I've tried to backup the X-Files Season five discs and the Babylon 5 Season one discs - I would like to copy them one disc to one disc instead of splitting. I strip streams and unwanted VOB IDs with ifoedit and the creat a cffl flie.
REMPEG will open the cffl file fine and start the resampling - but on every disc it gets to the halfway point and stops and says transcoding complete - but it's not. Only half of the pictures were encoded. I have Win XP with a nfts file system so there is no file size limit.
This happens any time I try to REMPEG a set of vobs over 6 gigs. Even if I join the vobs into one large vob this happens.
Anyone have any thoughts on why this is happening?
