I have an AVI I downloaded and according to Avicodec the video is Divx and the Audio is OGG. I am planning on converting this to a VCD file using DVD2SVCD, but I would still want it to play in Media Player as well.
I can find plenty of stuff around on converting to OGG audio, but nothing about converting OGG to AC3 or something else more common in an AVI.
This is not an area I am well versed in.

Is there something I missed?
Is there a relatively easy way to do this?

Thanks,
Mark

Maybe we should start paying for your efforts. What keeps you going?

@markrb,

Just donwload the Cyrius's Ogm Tools, demux the .ogg,
and use latest Peter's in_vorbis.dll and out_disk.dll,
convert it .ogg -> .wav with WinAmp ;)

Or...
You could use the John33's OggDropXp to decode the .ogg -> .wav

Thanks it worked doing the WinAmp way, but I couldn't get
OggDropXp to make a Wav that anything could read.

I hope this isn't a common thing, but now I can do it.

Thanks again,
Mark

@markrb,

Download OggDropXp from John33's site:
http://homepage.ntlworld.com/jfe1205/oggdropXPd.zip

From OggDropXp just right-click and goto "Decoding Option",
choose "Decode to File".

I prefer to use WinAmp ;)
