View Full Version : Incomplete Rip - How to recreate Video_ts.ifo?

I ripped some DVDs to make into SVCDs so didn't include the video_ts.ifo file. Now I have a DVD burner and want to use these rips to make "full copy" DVD-5s. However, I can't play them in Power DVD and I suspect it is because of the missing video_ts.ifo. This probably means I will not be able to make a DVD-R using the DVD-9 to DVD-5 guides as there is missing info.

I searched the forums to find a simple way to recreate the video_ts.ifo file from the vts_01_0.ifo and the vob files and cannot find a thing. Can anyone help?

IFOedit has a "create IFO's" button. It will create all of the .IFO's, so move your existing .IFO file(s) first in case you don't like what you get.

Derrow has a complete guide for this in his members area. Just another great reason to send some money his way. (If you haven't already)

Thanks. I tried that but it didn't work; I think I did something wrong. Time to join IFOEdit I'd say.
