The question is how much does creating an image adjust the size of the file being burned? I have made a fair amount of movies with good results but lately when i convert the video_ts folder in imgtool to an image and then burn it using dvd decrypter it wil burn to 97% and just stop writing. The drive still spins and nothing apears to be damaged, just a coaster and wasted time. I did figure out where the problm is: the images are larger than the original files are.

I do not think i am doing any thing wrong but if i am calculating how to resize a video and i have to take into consideration a size change in the output image it would be nice to know how much larger the image will be.

I guess i am asking if anybody has any input?

I know this might sound like a dumb question but before you created it to an image you did check dvdr size in ifoedit.

Open video_ts.ifo select the first drop down menu and dvdr size..

Is this the same as it is displayed in dvd decrypter
