Only one bugfix:
Version 2.66.01.05 Thursday, Novembur 7, 2002
Bug Fix
- Modified resource file.
Perhaps it's a bad translation, but I have no idea what bug was fixed.
It still has the same known bugs.
<< Known bugs >>
1. VBR encoding with "3:2 pulldown detection" selected causes error.
2. MPEG-1 encoding may cause "bad MV detected" error.
How these major bugs can last for 4 revisions is beyond me.

I've been using version 2.5 and I've been following the threads concerning the 2.6x cce releases. Does the newer version(s) handle pulldown, so I won't have to run pulldown after transcoding my NTSC DVDs?

@quantum
3:2 pulldown has been supported in all 2.66 versions of CCE, but was broken when used in conjunction with VBR up till this latest version.

@FooFighter007
I downloaded cce 2.66.01.06 and used tsunami 0.4.4 ;) but i still see the ecl saving limitation!
Is this "logical"? If yes, how can i bypass it?

And another one question.
I mainly transform PAL DVDs to SVCD.
Will i have any problems by using the 2.64 version of CCE?
I mean is this "4:3 pulldown with VBR" problem, a problem for me or just for the NTSC movies?

The CCE patcher works well but i have a problem that bugs me.
The patcher doesnīt fix the template and every time i import a file i have to redo all the settings.
Can anyone tell tsunami about this ????

I've noticed that also, here's a work around.
create a new template. when you open cce select the standard template and then change back to your new template. The new template will now be applied when you add a file.

another one bytes the dust ;-)
0.4.5 is available
Greetings
Tsunami
PS :
The ecl-issue can't be fixed, because the code isn't there, so far I know.
So alle Tools for 2.66.x only remove the wonderful great blue grfx.
But who cares ?
I personally don't use DVD2SVCD, I just put all my videos manually into the cce.
The Template-issue wasn't my fault, it was Custom Technology, who introduced that bug in cce 2.66.01.06 and fixed it in cce 2.66.01.07

Tsui !! Is it possible set always the Timecode setting to 00:00:00:00 ?????
Because with templates i have to change that setting every time i open the program.
And if i forget it , The Scenarist has a problem .
Could you put it by default or introduce a option to this setting ????
Thank you
