I am having the same problem, just wanted to verify you are talking about in ReMPEG2 the output resolution under options tab should match the width and height under input file under the main tab? Thanks

Yes.
Note: Although it may be possible to resize subpictures sometime in the future, I would not recommend it. Stick to the original resolution.

Mpucoder, You're right. But...
Sometimes I'd like to preserve 1:1 movies like THE MATRIX with all DVD features ON (Including "Follow the White Rabbit Feature").
If I reencode this movie, I need to downgrade the video bitrate about 58% of original bitrate.
With 58% bitrate, video resolution @ 720x480 doesn't look good.
So, you'll get better video quality @ 352x480 with 2.800 Kbps than
transcoding @ 720x480 with 2.800 Kbps average bitrate (In a 27" or smaller TV).
Of course if you want "Only Main Movie Method" and remove "Seamless Branching/Multi-angles Method" you can reencode movies @ 720x480.

That's why I'm interested on resize subpictures to half DVD screen resolution (352x480 NTSC).

Most Standalone DVD players I tested can Adjust Mpeg-2 video @ 352x480 with subpictures Auto-Centered @ 720x480 resolution to the TV monitor (Including subpictures contained in Menu Files).
But most of PC DVD players can't make this adjustment.
