Given that a name brand, good quality disk will be used, such as Pioneer, Verbatim, Ritek, and exc.

Which value listed by ADVDAInfo is the most important when in comes to a movie playing without skips and freezes on a stand-alone/tabletop DVD player?

My gut tells me it’s the Wavelength Code. When neither disk nor stand-alone codes match; as in Pioneer (Japan code 89) verses Verbatim (Singapore code 87), the wavelength maybe slightly out of range and the laser can not track properly, causing your TV picture to skip, freeze and fill full frustration for time wasted.

To the creator of ADVDAInfo, Thank you. This program is part of my compliancy checks before I burn a new brand of disk. It seems when I use disks with a Wavelength code of 87, the picture plays perfectly, no matter what loge is silk screened on the front.

Or is it another factor that is "most important"?
