Check dvd region encoding

Hi,

I would like to know how do i check the region encoding of any dvd disc. I saw a little util for this some time ago but dont seem to find it now that i need it.

You can use DVD Decrypter for that.

I dont think DVD Decrypter is really what im looking for.

There must be a smaller program for this. I dont need any kind of decss software, all i want is to check any DVD disc and see if it belongs to Region 1 or 2 or whatever.



About the nick, this is my only nick and the one i use everywhere. I understand the author of this site calls himself Doom9 and if that is trouble to anyone, the admins can change my nick on the control panel. No problemo.

Well, I don´t know of any other program that does so. Maybe 550 Kb is too big for a program that you only need for finding out from what region a DVD disc is. But at least it could be a temporary solution. I will let you know if I find something better.
