ok i ripped this movie and when i run a compressibility check its always so high and i dunno why its around a 100% or over and then i encode it but with 2 cds it went to like 1450 megs with ac3 5.1 audio it only goes down with really low resolution or is that what i have to do but won't it loose quality, also if anyone has any really good guidelines on resizing resolution and rules of thumbs for perfect resizing it would be greatly appreciated im using latest stable build of koepi thank you :)

pls, gimme more, wout detailes on your setting (filters/codec/...) i can conclude only to where u've done (drop size)

what prog did u use & what does this value mean xactly ? check effective bits/per pixel from your stats file.

don't think so ! higher resolution gives higher quality only if compressibility is ok. there are xxlenet resizers, u wont loose quality just because u used them.

here we go. i've got something like that (i kinda tweaker/optimization guide) i offer it time to time, but nobody ever has seemed to be interested. if anybody is interested, i can brush it up in some days.

i used iagos guide and settings exactly and im using gordian knot to make the .avs sorry i was in a rush and i been busy lately :) yes i would be interested in ur guides on resizing :)
