The next step after the compressibility check is a trim option relating to the end credits. I am not seeing this option anywhere. Can someone tell me where it is more specifically. Under what tab, etc.
Also, what does this mean?
"If you activated IVTC the IVTC in avs -> correct Frame Count. will not be grayed out and you have to check it"
It's always grayed for me. My movie rips are fine. What is IVTC and do I need to activate it? How do I do that?

Hi-

You know the picture of your movie that appears when you open the .d2v? Use the scroll bar and then the frame advance buttons to scroll to the first frame of the end credits and hit "Set Credits Start". Then when you create the .avs in the "Save And Encode" screen, in the bottom left corner is the "Trim" box and you just tick "Both (enc.credits separately)". Set up the other things you want and then hit "Save" or "Save and Encode".
Did I leave anything out jggimi?:)
It's always grayed for me.
Well, then obviously you didn't apply IVTC. Ordinarily, if making mostly Hollywood type movies, you can just Force Film in DVD2AVI, and you don't need to IVTC. As for what it is and why you might need it sometime, well, read this:

You'll need it for movies that are NTSC, but are not encoded as Film (for example if you get a DVD that someone has copied from Laserdisc with full 29.97fps). Once you've dealt with IVTC, you'll always be glad when you don't need it ;)
