Yes, provided a chapter on the DVD has that lenght. Just do one chapter...

The upcoming release will be even more flexible, but a chapter should do for testing.

I must be doing somthing wrong
if i select first 2 chapters (about nine minutes in length) dvd2svcd only rips 2 vobs and gives me a 15 sec sample
I tried ripping the vobs to hdd first but cant get any chapters that way

If you got problems with this chpater, just try another one. You also can download DVD2SVCD1.1.0 RC4 (Go to advanced forum and look for a thread named 'help!!!') In this version you can do frame selection and select some scene you have problems with, this would be even better for testing filter settings.

Are you playing all the VOB's that have been ripped?
If the video is at or near the end of a VOB DVD2SVCD will rip that last little part from that VOB and then start a new one.
