Greetings all,
I'm going to build a new PC which I will use only for video. I'm going to build an AMD 2600+ processor on a giga-byte GA-7VAXP motherboard with 512mb pc3200 (ddr400)memory. I will be using 2 80 GB wd hard drives that have 8 meg buffers. My video card (already existing) is the ATI radion 7200.
My question is will I have any software compatability issues with the higher speed processor or above mentioned hardware?
I use the following software:
Windows 2000 server
DVD Decryptor
DVD2AVI
ChaptorXtractor
Tmpgenc
Infoedit
DVD Maestro
And from time to time AC3 delay corrector
All above software is the latest versions.
If anyone knows of any problems I may have please let me know. I would like to be sure I don't waist a lot of time and $$ building a machine that won't work with the above software. Any suggestions are also welcome.
