Iīve extracted the subs using this guide http://www.doom9.org/index.html?/mpg/dvdsubs.htm
But when I later import them in maestro it only imports sub 723-1392 (in the beginning of the movie leaving the end without subs).
Anyone have any ideas why maestro doesnīt want the 1-722 ??

if you re-encoded using CCE, and forgot to change the timecode, that that will be your problem.

apart from re-encoding, there has been a util mentioned a while back on the forum(s) here that will change the timecode without reencoding.

I havenīt re-encoded it at all.
I ripped the subs directly from the dvd.
Maybe thats the problem ?

I also have a srt file that i converted to a stl file.
When i import the stl file in maestro i get the same problem as in the first post.

Video streams from retail DVDs have timecodes when I have extracted them.

You can set the timecode to zero in Maestro. This doesn't change the timecode in the video stream, but for the purposes of subtitle import it will ;) Chapter import will still be off though.

When ripping with subrip you can also input the timecode ;)

Iīm not sure i follow you.
How do i know the timecodes for the video stream ?

After placing the movie on the timeline there should be a number displayed in a box on the lower left of the video stream...that's the timecode. Double click on that box and change it to 00:00:00:00

as a side note, there is a much easier way of doing subs which is outlined in DVD9 to DVD5 complete backup guide by Trilight. You'll save yourself at least 10 minutes of OCR/sst conversion frustration.

I though it was more like 2 hours :P

OCR is like pulling teeth imo...
