Is it possible to deactivate a Menu button ?

Anybody know how to deactivate a Menu button..
Example...I want to keep all Menu buttons except
say the 'Special Features' button, that way the DVD
won't lock up during play back.

or is it too cumbersome to do?

My present fix is to just not
press 'Special Features' on the menu. But I'm looking to
deactivate the actual button.

Any one done it? and can point out the basic steps?
