when i try to import my AC3 audio into Maestro it gives me the following error message:
Inconsistent bitrates were found amoung audio streams. Bitrate should be consistent throught the stream. (0xc1070052)
I cant figure out what i did wrong. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi, it seems you have a logo or something like that on your m2v file. So the Ac3 give you an error wen imported. Check the idīs used by the main movie, strip out the others and then strip the Ac3 again. That happened to me too and thatīs how i solved the problem. ;)

Well, you check the main movie ifo file with Ifoedit and see the Vobs ids used. Then you strip them out and ignore the others ones. That will leave you with only the main movie ( no logo or trailers ). After that you can use dvd2avi to extract the Ac3 file again ( from the new Vobs ) and Dvdmaestro should be ok with that. Check this: http://www.doom9.org/mpg/ifoedit-menustripping.htm

Actually I had the same problem AFTER first stripping the vobs with IFOEdit (as per the Doom9 guides), with Pearl Harbor.
I analysed the AC3 file that I extracted using DVD2AVI with HeadAC3che and it told me that the last frame in the AC3 was corrupt. So I used HeadAC3che to run the AC3 through the encoder and chop out the last frame. I then imported the resulting AC3 back into Maestro no problem.
You may want to try re-encoding the AC3 with one of these fine audio tools available on this site.

you can also try to use ac3fix.exe, it's a command line utility that saved me a couple of times. also, you may have a vbr encoded .ac3 and maestro does not take that. in that case you'll have to transcode it to the same bitrate cbr using besweet.
