Hello,

I have been encoding widescreen DVDs and divx/avi's into SVCDs using the "16:9 (borders added, encoded as 4:3)" option. Plays just like the original widescreen DVD on my 4:3 TV, but I just realised it is saying "encoded as 4:3" - how are these going to look when I buy a 16:9 widescreen TV?

Can someone please clarify.......

Use the search button.

They will add the black borders and will not fit full side to side unless you stretch the image.

For people encoding for widescreen most use 4:3 (encode as 4:3 do not add borders)
