I ripped Behind enemy lines and noticed that one VOB was only 32 MB. Nothing is missing from the movie, the vob contains less than a minute of the move.

Anyone have a clue to why they have done this??

The files that you see on a PC are all part of one big file. For compatability with the greatest number of file systems (Windows, DOS, MAC, etc) the files are split so they are just under 1GB, usually 1,073,739,776 bytes. The last vob file will always be short. btw, Dogma R1 last vob is only 22.6M, so there are smaller ones.

Sorry I forgot to mention thatthere is a vts_02_5.vob after that is 0.99 GB. weird.

When I use REmpgeg and remox it the sound becomes out of sync with the picture around the time in the movie with the strange VOB.

I assume, the layer-break point is located there, and _5.VOB starts with a new VOB-ID.

Ok that seems to be correct. Ant after the layer breakpoint the sound is out of sync when i remux it with the m2v file.

Any idea why??
