I know the problems relating to errors when using CCE + avisynth have been posted extensively, but i was unable to find any kind of answer in any of those threads.
When i try to use CCE to convert a DivX to SVCD, using avisynth for resize, i get "fexp_close() failed: ***Could not close the file c:\avisynth.avs" popping up every now and then during the encode.
(so far i've only seen posted in this forum the error "could not OPEN the file...", when i get "could not CLOSE the file...")
You can (often) press OK when this pops up, and CCE will continue encoding, but sometimes it stop, and anyway I have little or no urge to sit infront of the computer for hours waiting for that msg to pop up, so i can press OK.
I am wondering why i get this error only when converting DivX/AVI and not when frameserving MPEG-2 streams via DVD2AVI => Avisynth (MPEG2DEC).
Anyone have any idea what causes this problem, or how one might work around it?
I know one could prolly go Avisynth => VFAPI => CCE or use VirtualDub to frameserv instead, but the simplicity of a Avisynth script is preferable. At least to me.
