A lot of bitrate calculators ask for different things... most ask for the audio bitrate and the final size of the video, but some ask for other things...
for example, the one included in Koepi's build of XviD asks whether or not the audio is vbr mp3, cbr mp3, or ac3, whether or not it should account for the AVI frame overhead, the subtitle size, and the frame rate...
should they ask about anything else? would keyframe interval matter?
also, would it really matter what implementation of MPEG4 you were using? I mean, would the bitrate be the same for XviD, DivX 3.11a, or DivX 5?
