I've read the many posts about multi angle problems and can find no solution to the problem I face with this DVD.

It seems there are two instances where there are three angles.

I have tried stripping angles with various editions of IFOEdit only to have the resulting disc unplayable on the DVD player in any version of IFOEdit.

It's like the IFO is not getting updated with the new information for some reason and I take pains to save the IFO after each process.

The size of this movie is such that if you can strip streams and the 2nd & 3rd angles, it is small enough to fit on a DVDR, but the resulting file set just won't play past 4 seconds.

I've even tried stripping with SmartRipper and making new IFO's for the resulting VOB's, but they won't play either except in PowerDVD.

What little tidbit did I miss?

Thanks in advance for any help.

I backed up this movie awhile ago with success. What version of IFOEdit are you using?

I've tried .932; .94 & .95 P2 and maybe .6.

I back up most of my discs with a movie only DVD, no menus.

This one is small enough, if you can strip unneeded audios and unneeded angles, it will fit on a DVDR without transcoding.

Each time I try this, I get a file set that won't play more than 4 sec. in IFOEdit's DVD player.

Use .932. Open main movie ifo with IFO Edit. Click VOB extras, set ouput path.

Choose Angle 1. When you get to the VOB id selection page, DO NOT change anything.

This is all I did and it worked great.

That's what I did, I thought. I'll give it another try later.

Thanks for responding!
