What´s Wrong with the NEW IFO094 ???? BUG REPORT !!!

Hi Everybody,
I speak for my Two Friends an me of Course !!
We have a Big Problem with the NEW IFO 94, better it is a DAMAGE to us .

So here the Story !!!

We are Three DVD Fans and Started Copying_Backup DVD MOVIES from our own Collection so we used the IFO 91 nad the 09.32 and we did well each of us over 150 DVD-R PERFECT ONES MOVIES .


Since we Updated our Systems with the GRADIUS HACK 1.33 and the NEW IFO 9.4
Everyone burned 10 Movies USING both INSTANT DVD V6.4 or NERO 5.5.14
We Called us every Day and Discussed over Problems BURNING DISC´s wasnt Easy anymore so we Tryed 2 Days and Nights a TEST we Find out that the NEW IFO is BUGGY (Sorry DERROW) we Killed that two days over 30 DVD-R

We Tryed to burn 1Xspeed and 2xSpeed !!(USIND DVD-R TRACKDATA VIDEOCASE from MARKALON BAYER TECHNOLOGIES MADE 100% in GERMANY !

We had DVD Standalone =PLAYSTAITON2 ,DENON DVD-2800MK1, PIONEER DV747 RCE FREE, PIONEER DV-646 RCE FREE,PIONEER-DV525 for testing Results

The Movies are Different by the Owner of the System so here just an Example LIST

E.T Split 2
The SUM of all Fears Split 2
The Jackal Split 2
Monster INC. Normal without MENU
ANTZ Normal+MENU
X-MEN Normal without MENU
THE LAST CASTLE Split 2
REINDEER GAMES Spilt 2
AUSTIN POWERS Normal with MENU
JURASSIC PARK3 Normal without MENU
And many more!!!!!!!!!

First System Burned 9 Movies in 2X Speed 4 of them were SPLIT to 2 DVD-R all of them are FREEZING mostly after Chapter 15 or 22 in all PLAYERS !!!!!!

Second System Burned TOTAL 11 Movies 3 of them Split and 8 Normal 4 Discs doesnt Start in a PS2,PC DVD or all Standalone Player

Third System Burned 6 Movies 2 Split !!! Both Second DISK doesnt Start.

TEST RESULT

After all 3 SYSTEM`s we used the SAME MOVIES and the Older IFO 9.32 and you Cannot believe it,,, All MOVIES in 2X SPEED worked 100% PERFECT so !!!!!!
I just want to say it was very Hard to find out about it but it is not the GRADIUS HACK that was BUGGY it must to be the IFO or THE IFO and the GRADIUS HACK are not COMPATIBLE !!!

I'm having a problem with IfoEdit 0.94 ! I follow guide exactly on how to split to 2 DVD's but after playing both files ok and exiting IfoEdit & restarting - get vts sectors & save ... here's the problem --> Nero burns Disc 2 , no problem BUT will not burn Disc 1.

I think you may be having your problem with .133 X2 hack because I am still using .132 and having no problem burning @ X2 (only tried burning at X2 on X2 blank media though)!!;)

P.S. Your english is really not that bad , a lot better than my german for sure LOL

No , I don't consider IfoEdit to be bad at all... in fact I think it's good! Although I've only recently known of the IfoEdit software and haven't tried previous versions as matey who started the link has.

I hope you get plenty of feedback Derrow , that way we're only ever gonna get a better version to come ------ SWEET !

I think it's more of a problem of firmware than IfoEdit as to my reponse here.

Don't burn the DataTracks at 2x speed. This is the problem. They are not meant to be burnt at that speed. It is a perfect cheap DVD-R if burnt at 1x speed and then it will run on almost every player. Burn them at 2x speed an forget about them.

There is a reason why some media isn't certified for 2x yet and I am not talking about the pioneer royalties now... Think about it. :)

OK So DataTrack is Really Cheap Brand , i agree but why when we use the IFO 932 abnd BURN 2 X with INSTAND 6.4 we did 20 DVD-R without any Problem ???

So Really it cant be the MEDIA it has to be the IFO94 cause since we started with the older Version every DVD-R 2X Play Perfect !!!
