hey everyone,
i have tried to use Scenarist for MultiPGC-movies, nut every time i import a .m2v Scenarist says next to DATA START TIME 00:59:58;00.
And on my TIME SCALE after dropping the main movie to the TRACK EDITOR the movie starts at 01:00:00;00!!!!!!
In all tuts i see that all movies starts at 00:00:00;00, so...what do i do wrong?? How can i change the starting time from 00:59:58;00 to zero?
The reason why i'm asking is when i want to import subs the starting time of them is smaller than the starting time of the main movie what is clearly right if the movie starts at 59min and 58secs and the subs at 00min!
Can someone please help me???
THX!

sounds like you encoded with CCE and forgot to change the timecode setting ;)
there are numerous threads on this, and an app (cant remember name) of one that will reset the time code to something for you. otherwise just edit the chapter list file.

...no, i have not encoded with CCE cause i stripped the m2v just from the vobs and it was small enough to put it on a dvd-r including one ac3-file and the menu.
i have tried it with to movies, one WB-movie, cats and dogs, and one Disney-movie, monsters inc.
i have read in a tut that i can set the starting time of a sub or so, but when i enter 00:00:00;00 to the main movie and press return it changed to 00:59:58;00 :(
any other suggestions what i do wrong???

you must save the scenario as a script and then open it with wordpad or something like that. change all the lines with the time 00 59 58 00 to 00 00 00 00 .and changethe line with the ending time of the movie to excact time it ends andyou can calculate it from 00 59 58 00 to the end. So if there is a file with 00 59 58 00 and the ending time is 01 45 45 00 then you must change it to 00 45 47 00. and then save it as teh same file, choose all files and overwrite the file and woila it works.

THX Auenf!
That was it! I tried that some time before, but it seems that i have forgotten one timecode!
Now i have changed all and it works fine!
Maybe you can help me then with another prob in Scenarist??
The Disney-Movie has a "still pic" where you can select the language at the beginning! That is PGC2, the mein movie is PGC1.
After improting all languages to the main movie, i want to import the next m2v-file containing just that "still pic". But everytime i import the ac3-stream belonging to this PGC2 (there are surely the same AC3-streams as in PGC1), Scenarist tells me that a "still menu" and a "still slide" and a "still ..." cannot have ac3-streams! So i cannot import any AC3-streams....
The m2v-file of PGC2 is just 6k...but i need it cause the original movie starts this before the menu comes up!
I think that is the reason why the authored movie with PGC1 (mein-movie) and PGC2 (still menu or still slide or still....) does not work!
Do you have any suggestion how i can fix this prob????
THX in advance (maybe also to another person who can help!)
