Hi
I always did my single pass with the CCE Q set to 30 or 20, because I thought lower was best, is this true .I have being using the CCE guesser which uses the Q of 60, but it gives you an ideal file size, but which one will give you the best quality?

I do all my movies 1 pass vbr....usually use 38-40 Q and 5-15 on image quality. Most movies wind up being around 1.8-2.1g in size which allows me to put 2 movies on one disc.

I set the Q (quantization factor) to 60 in CCEGuesser because That's just what I've always used. It was in a guide I read when I started using CCE and I've never bothered to change it because the results were astounding as-is. I'm not sure what it does, to be honest.

I do know that Image Quality Priority, which is different, will generally give you better quality with a lower number. I always use 5 for regular movies.
