I'm not sure about it, but it seems that making a compression
I lose some frame frome the file.
I've not here the figures, because I'm at work, but if I remember
correctly the film is 4/5 seconds shorter then it should be.
I made a first conversion months ago, and a new one last week,
to try the vdub temporal smoother (very effective).
Now opening both films with VDub I see that the last made is shorter
(=less frames) then the previous. The audio is also progressively desynchronyzed.
Seeems that I lose a frame every now and then.
I don't know if it's a VDdub , filter or XVid problem
any suggestion ?
Maurizio

Inverse Telecine. It is the process of converting a 29.976fps video back to a propper 24fps or 23.976fps video. But only if the source was 24fps or a cinema movie to begin with. Otherwise it will make the video choppy.

No, i didn't do ivtc
the original film was 24 fps
I'll try to redo it in the next weekend,
paying attention to the frame count.
Thanks
Maurizio
