while dvd2svcd(bbrunmpeg) was creating the bbmpeg_muxed_001.mpg file(which is the second file of the movie), it has an error that says "error on output" and a window message that says "run out of space" and that it need to clean. so pretty much the mpeg files didn't finish because i run out of space. i already deleted some files.. about 4 gb. This we're my problem is.. when i run the recober thru dvd2svcd, it just says "svcd creation finish".
is there any way i could recreate the 2nd mpeg file or either both mpeg files?
thanks

Make sure you put the dropdown next to where you load the d2s file to muxing and cutting in your case.

Mark,
if you're talking about the dropdown box besides the recover command, yes i did click it and selected the d2s file. but still it says creation finish.

If you are doing NTSC try going back one step to pulldown and recover from there.
Did you delete any files within the directory you are encoding to?
This could be your problem. If you don't have the files anymore.

mark,
yes the movie is ntsc and the file i deleted are vobs, i believe they are not already needed once tmpeg is done encoding.
how do i go back one step to pull down and recover? or how do i go back each step of the process?

On the misc tab next to recover there is a drop down.
After you load the d2s file is will say one of the following.
Finalize
SVCD Authoring
Muxing and Cutting
Pulldown
Video Encoding
Audio Processing
etc...
Your first try should have set this at muxing and cutting.
If that fails go back one step to Pulldown.
Each of these are steps and what you have depends on whether you selected do not delete any files on the Misc tab. If you have that checked then you should have all the options. With that unchecked you are missing a few.

I know it may be trite, but I never delete the vobs until I know the backup was completely done 100% correctly. HD storage is getting more and more affordable, go pick up another 7200 rpm IDE drive while they're priced at around $1.00 per GB.
